Onfire has been the creative partner for CDB, manufacturer of electrical homewares, for over 5 years. Having previously developed packaging for their first successful entry into the heated hair straightener market, CDB saw the opportunity to further grow and innovate in the category targeting the tween market. Onfire were asked to help get this product from concept to store shelf
Product naming and positioning established the brand in the ever-changing tween market with a strapline which took the ‘new to market’ product concept to revolution status. A palette of bright, colourful ‘look at me!' neons were created for the ceramic brushes and the bespoke tube packaging. To create cut through in the retail environment, pack messaging and copy was kept at a minimum, allowing the colours and product photography to do all the work on-shelf. Revolutions are never undertaken lightly, so why not be bold with it?
