Alloy Yachts are New Zealand's most awarded super yacht builder. They build custom super yachts, and motor yachts from 30m to 68m in length. Onfire Design created the proposed brand positioning, website design, digital and print communication.
At the weekend, New Zealand lost one of it's most talented designers, Rob Coats of Coats Design. Coatsie was responsible for brands such as Rodd & Gunn, Liquor King and Swazi to name a few.

Onfire were engaged to create a website that would effectively present the wide range of services offered by 37South, in a sophisticated and easy to use platform.
Jackie Hayward joins the Onfire team as Account Director. She has been a client and supplier of ours for a number of years, so the decision to jump the fence and become part of the team was a natural one.
In the past, if schools heard the word 'copyright' they would run a mile. We worked with three separate copyright agencies to develop a single outward facing brand to target schools. Onfire created the 'Read more, Hear more, See more' brand in 2013.
Following on from excellent sales at last year’s show where Surtees sold 42 boats, this year’s sales are already trending well ahead, after the recent 2014 Hutchwilco Boat Show. There was strong interest in the Surtees stand, and particularly in the recently launched Surtees 5.8 Game Fisher.
By the end of the night Dickey Boats had won awards in every class they entered. Not a bad result for this niche team from Napier specialising in luxury aluminium sports cruisers and trailer boats.

Rocna, the ultimate new generation anchor. Onfire overhauled Rocna's identity giving the brand direction and elevating its status to reflect its position as the world's strongest anchor. We developed a new brand statement 'Rocna. Rock Solid.' and created a larger than life illustration that enables the brand to stand out in a marine environment saturated by 'same same' imagery.
Next week is the 2014 Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show. On display will be two of New Zealand's leading boat manufacturers, Surtees Boats of Whakatane and Dickey Boats of Napier.
The guys at Surtees Boats asked Onfire Design to look at refreshing their vehicle signage. As the utes are used for towing the boats we designed the signage so that it mimicked the graphics found on the side of their hulls.
