Chapter2, Onfire take Gold at Good Design Awards 2020

chapter2

Chapter2 believe that cycling is one of the purest sports. Just you, your bike and a healthy appetite for adventure and fun.

The AO (which means ‘earth’ in Māori), is a gravel bike designed for speed, fun and adventure.

Onfire was tasked with creating the custom livery for the new AO Essential Collection and Limited Edition. ’Not All Who Wander Are Lost’ was chosen as the theme for the designs.

The Limited Edition AO is distinguished by its Army Green with striking Orange highlights. Sitting within the chain stays and fork blades is a custom camouflage pattern created by Onfire. And up front the head tube features a subtle 3D aluminium head badge. The combination of the frames aesthetics and livery has been lauded by bike enthusiasts and fashionistas alike.

The Chapter2 AO took out Gold at the Good Design Awards 2020 in Australia. This comes on the back of winning Gold at the New Zealand Best Design Awards the previous year.

Congratulations to Mike Pryde, Chapter2 and the Onfire team.
