For the third year in a row, Chapter2 has taken home some precious metal from the New Zealand Best Design Awards.
Made Simple wholefood bars have become a star In Tasti’s portfolio of products. Based on the core idea of ’simple goodness’, packaging shows ‘exactly’ what is inside each bar. Simple and authentic. We were tasked with helping build upon the popularity of the product with a range extension with added plant protein.

As part of our work with Walter & Wild refreshing the Vitafresh brand, we were tasked to redesign its sub-brand, Vitasport. Sitting in the same ambient category this range is separated from the highly competitive RTD brands in the drinks aisles of supermarkets. But it still needed to speak the same modern sports language as these other national and international electrolyte RTD brands.
We’ve just got our hands on the latest IdN 25.3, an international design magazine, all about packaging design featuring some of our work from 2018. It's cool to see New Zealand design getting some coverage.
What does Chapter2 now have in common with the likes of Apple, Ferrari, Dyson and TAG Heuer? No less than a prestigious Red Dot Award for product design!

A new player in the electric bike game will be launched nationwide this month, with the emphasis on excellent value for money, quality product, servicing and family involvement.
This start-up confectionery brand gave us full freedom to develop a brand name, identity and all imagery for their range of products, all on a realistic and carefully monitored budget. The challenge was to give a mass appeal product a vibrant personality without it appearing “down market”. We developed the variant names and identities for 3 products with simple, bold designs and bold illustrations. Our objective being clear communications for a product destined for a very competitive retail space.
Onfire's client Aotea needed a model Cheetah for their stand at the EMEX show this year. We created a 3D CAD model of the Cheetah and had a miniature model laser cut. The life-size model is currently in development.
Julena is a home baker on a mission. A love of baking came from her Croatian mama and she has developed her skills, recipes and ideas over the years ever since. Originally, the aim was to get herself and her family healthier and feeling better. This resulted in Julena researching diets and sampling nutritious whole foods, Paleo and even cutting out dairy.
Onfire Design recently worked on a new look identity for Advance Trident, one of New Zealand's leading distributors of top end Marine Electronics and Power Products. Deliverables for this project included a brand, strategy, brand positioning and identity.
